Salmo 23 “Explicado” - Psalm 23 “Explained”

¹ El Señor es mi *pastor --- esto es ¡relación!

  nada me falta --- esto es ¡provisión!
² en verdes pastos me hace descansar --- ¡esto es descanso! 
   Junto a tranquilas aguas me conduce --- ¡esto es refresco!
³ me infunde nuevas *fuerzas --- ¡esto es sanidad!
   Me guía por sendas de *justicia ---  ¡esto es guía!
   por amor a su *nombre --- ¡esto es propósito!

⁴ Aun si voy por valles tenebrosos --- ¡esto es prueba!
   no temo peligro alguno --- ¡esto es protección!
   porque tú estás a mi lado --- ¡esto es fidelidad!
   tu vara de pastor me reconforta --- ¡esto es disciplina!

⁵ Dispones ante mí un banquete en presencia de mis enemigos –-- ¡esto es esperanza!
   Has ungido con perfume mi cabeza --- ¡esto es consagración!
   has llenado mi copa a rebosar --- ¡esto es abundancia!

⁶ La bondad y el amor me seguirán todos los días de mi vida --- ¡esto es bendición!
   y en la casa del Señor --- ¡esto es seguridad!
   habitaré para siempre --- ¡esto es eternidad!

⁴ Even though I walk through the darkest valley --- that’s testing!
   I will fear no evil --- that’s protection!
   for you are with me – that’s faithfulness!
   your rod and your staff they comfort me – that’s discipline!

 ⁵ You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies --- that’s hope!
    You anoint my head with oil --- that’s consecration!
    my cup overflows --- that’s abundance!
⁶ Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life --- that’s blessing!
   and I will dwell in the house of the LORD --- that’s security!

   forever --- that’s eternity
